Sunday, September 30th

Greetings Everyone!

It was great to have so many folks in class on Sunday. Thanks for making it so easy to lead a lesson! Next week Lora Bender will be leading our lesson on Ruth Chapter 4. The following week we begin Esther and will need someone to lead.

It looks like the Wagoners will be joining us permanently and that is great!
It was also nice to have Garrick Palmer in class.

Some items to put on your calendar:

Saturday, October 6th -- Work day on the Habitat House. Please contact Lee Greer if you want to help out. His email is leegreer@verizon.net .

October 6 - 12 -- Taking Dinners to the Doak Family
10/6 Saturday -- Ross
10/7 Sunday -- Greer
10/8 Monday -- Landis
10/9 Tuesday -- Michel
10/10 Wednesday -- Bender
10/11 Thursday -- OPEN
10/12 Friday -- OPEN

Sunday, October 21st -- packing boxes for soldiers in Iraq. I will be resending the official list of items needed for care packages. We will be packing the boxes with contributions from the class and using class funds to cover shipping costs. (We will be using the flat rate priority mail boxes.) We will also be doing lunch afterwards. Jerry Simmons suggested that we order lunches and take them to the park instead of doing a restaurant. We all thought that was a great idea! (Way to go Jerry!) Ellen Greer is going to talk to Lee about that. We will have more info this Sunday.

I think that was it. Please remember to keep Robin in your prayers this week as she prepares for her surgery and especially on Friday around 8:00 AM when she is schedule for surgery.

God Bless.
Lynn Ross
