Thank you to Kerry Webb for leading us through our first lesson on the book of Esther.

Update for Sunday School Oct 21st: Meet at 11 a.m.
CLASS SERVICE PROJECT FOR PARENTS & KIDS.
We will be bringing and packing goods to send to American Troops in Iraq.

Please bring your donations (list of suggestions on Class blog).

Parents & kids will also have an opportunity to write a letter of thanks and encouragement to the troops, or draw them a picture. (I will bring colored construction paper & markers/crayons for the kids to create pictures for the troops.) We will enclose these messages with the packages.

LUNCH FOLLOWING SERVICE PROJECT WORK:
Rather than go to a restaurant, the class decided to order food from Jason's Deli, to eat at church, or if weather permits, at Castle Park picnic area.
Cost of Box lunches is $5.00 for adults; $3.50 for kids.
Box lunches include ham or turkey sandwich, chips, pickle & chocolate chip cookie.
Please specify white or wheat bread and clarify if your child wants an adult or child's portion.
You can also order off the menu, if you want something different. You may modify or submit your order to Ellen or Lee Greer any time, with a deadline of 9 a.m. Sunday morning.
I will provide a re-cap of everyone's order by e-mail on Friday so that everyone can double-check their orders.
