Sunday December 11, 2011

What a nice group we had Sunday. Oprah Winfrey came by and gave new SUV's to everyone in attendance. (That was the worst recruitment marketing ploy EVER.) Even better - we had Dana Chandler lead the class in our series on the Book of Romans; "Dead And Alive". Very few knuckles got rapped, and we benefited from Dana perspective on Paul's letter to the Romans. This Sunday Tracy Costello will lead us in "Delivered From The Law". So, if your knuckles are still bleeding or sore from Dana's rap, Tracy can make it all better. She's a professional, you know.

We still need some volunteers to finish out the series. Check down to the right and see if there's a week where you can lead the class and let us know. We'll put your name right in there.

The Families of Faith Christmas party is THIS Saturday night at the Webb's house. (Yes, they've been notified that we're coming.) Bring an appetizer or a dessert. ALSO, bring a gift worth no more than $10 for the gift exchange. Ladies bring a lady gift; guys bring a guy gift. Now, it was noted during class that the ladies tend to bring "real" gifts while the guys tend to bring...lemme see, how did she word that..."ridiculous" gifts. I don't see a whole lot of "ridiculous" in a six pack and a Slim Jim, but to each his own. So, prepare to have fun, because Lisa always has great game ideas.

Until next we meet, remember that we're loved, blessed, and forgiven.
