Sunday 10/4/09

Yay Lynn! Great job leading Lesson 3 on the Book of Romans. Dana will lead us this Sunday in Lesson 4; and if you don't want to stand in the hall or clean erasers all day, you'll read Romans 4 and 5 before class on Sunday.

The women of the class seem to think that just because there's a men's retreat on the weekend of October 23 that they can can just go out galivanting around having a good time. They've even named this atrocity "Girls' Night Out", and they've set aside Friday October 23 to do it. I'd put my foot down about this...but all the other guys will be at the retreat and I'll definitely need backup, so never mind. Have a nice time, Girls.

Our next class social event will be the annual Thanksgiving Feast, Sunday November 22. No lesson, but good food and a chance to talk with each other without that feeling of shutting the class down.

The Starhaven Superstars are looking for team members to participate in the Susan G. Komen Race For The Cure. If you'd like to join the team or make a donation, go to this website: http://www.komen-dallas.org/site/TR?team_id=37840&fr_id=1040&pg=team

Church Golf Tournament October 18 @ 1:30p at Bridlewood. Contact Lee Greer if you'd like to play.

Have a blessed week, and we'll see you all on Sunday.

Your Brother,

Stubie...
