Nice job, Dana...so I hear. Thanks to Dana for leading Lesson #4 in our study of the Book of Romans. According to the most recent list I have, nobody will be leading us this Sunday - so it's every man for himself! UNLESS, you feel compelled to lead us toward the light. If you would like to...no wait, strike that...If you would be agreeable to lead the class this Sunday the 18th, please let either Robin or Stubie know. We'd love to put your name on the blog list. While we're at it, we also need leaders for Lessons 7, 8 and 9. See the list on the right hand side of the blog for open dates.
The Church Golf Tournament is this Sunday the 18th at Bridlewood. If you'd like to play, HURRY and sign up. Spectator's tip: If you want to see some really good golf played, don't look for the foursome with Jim Sandridge and Stubie Doak in it.
Girls' Night Out - Saturday October 24th. The girls will meet at Rockfish at 5:30, then go see a movie. The term I heard was "chick flick", so if any of you girls were hoping for "Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs" - you're out of luck.
The Annual "Families of Faith" Thanksgiving Gorge is Sunday November 22nd. In a fit of spiritual irresponsibility, we're going to eat instead of studying Romans. We will circulate a list fairly soon for everyone to volunteer to bring something to the feast.
I hope all of you have a wonderfully blessed week. See you Sunday.
Stubie...
