Thanks to George Gump for leading the class this morning in our study, "Outliving Your Life" Week 5. We talked about always being in prayer, and how to pray, and WHY to pray. The best point in this lesson for me was a quote from Oswald Chambers saying that prayer isn't preparation for the work; prayer IS the work. From that I took it to mean that prayer is to establish and grow your relationship with God. Without the relationship, the work is insignificant. Great lesson. Good job, George. Meanwhile, read up on Week 6 for our final week of "Outliving Your Life"...and come ready.
Today was the day we were all going to have out gift cards for Laura to take to the Teen Ministry at 1st Methodist Lewisville. If you didn't, you can still give them to her and she'll get them to the ministry.
Until next we meet, remember that we're loved and blessed.
