Thanks to everyone who came to class this morning. We got back into our study of the Book of Romans with Lynn Ross leading us. Outstanding job, Lynn. We have one more chapter in this study series, then we eat together again, then we start our study on the book, "Mere Christianity" by C.S. Lewis. Meanwhile, Kerry Webb will lead us this Sunday, so read up on chapter 12, "Ministering Together". Read Romans 15:14-16:27 so as to stay up with the class.
"Amigo Days" is April 13-14 and April 20-21. They're helping Birdie - a 78-year-old grandmother living alone in South Dallas. She's a devoted Christian, and her house is falling down around her and she can neither fix it herself or afford to have it fixed. So, "Amigo Days" will help Birdie out. There are opportunities for construction, lunches (making them, not eating them) and for prayer teams. Contact Jeff Traylor at jeff@itmightwork.com. Or sign up in the Connection Center through April 1.
The Uth Kwior is having a fundraiser April 15th at the church. Keith Long has secured a table for 8 people for $60, if you want it. That's a swell price for 8 people to eat, AND it might be a great vehicle for meeting one of your "Tables of Eight" obligations. I didn't get the brochure on this, so if you have any questions, contact Keith Long.
Meanwhile, until we cross each other's paths again, remember that we're loved and blessed.
