Sunday September 11, 2011

Thank you, thank you, thank you to Phil Goodrich for leading the class this morning in our study of the Book of Acts and "The Conversion of Saul". We learned how Saul of Tarsus went from being a rabid Pharisee charged with the persecution of those that believed in and followed the Gospel - to becoming one of those that he persecuted. Great job, Phil. Lynn Ross will lead us this Sunday (9/18) in "The Gospel to the Gentiles". Read up on Acts 9:32 - 12:25. Sure that's a lot of reading, but Lynn's a teacher so you better do it...you know, that whole "ruler on the knuckles" thing.

The "Tables of Eight" list has been put together, thanks to Jim & Kaye Sandridge. The groupings are as follows:
  • The Longs, the Rosses, the Michels and the Wilson.
  • The Palmers, the Mitchells, the Gumps and the Shoemaker.
  • The Goodriches, the Sandridges, the Corleys and the Doak(s).
  • The Webbs, the Harrises, the Benders and the Wagoners.
  • The Costellos, the Greers, the Shannons, and the Chandler.
Get in touch with the members of your group to determine batting order.

We only have two openings left to lead the class in our study of the Book of Acts. Check the list to the right and let us know that you'd like to take one of them. It won't hurt.

Until we meet again (which I hope is sooner rather than later) remember that we are all blessed and loved and saved.

Stubie...
