Sunday January 30, 2011

Thanks to everyone who attended class this morning, and thanks to Keith Mitchell foe leading the study titled, "When You Believe in God but Still Worry All the Time". We are a worrisome species, but God tells us not to worry. So, we'd better do as He says. He is, after all, higher in rank than we. Tune in next week when Chip Pierpont leads us in the study, "When You Believe in God but Pursue Happiness at Any Cost". Chip has asked for a 9:00AM wake-up call for Sunday morning, so if you have his number please take note.

The Trietsch Marriage Enrichment Ministry "Valentine's Party" is Saturday February 11 at Circle R Ranch. Tickets are $25 per person and can be purchased in the Connection Center or the Church office. PeggyZ@tmumc.org, Also, there will be a little "Happy Hour" beforehand at the home of Jim & Kaye Sandridge, 6:00PM. Beer, wine, light appetizers - you know the drill. PLUS Jim's famous lampshade dance to snake charmer music. Dont miss it.

Van Glover has asked for about 10 strapping men to help with the Lions Club Balloon Fest in Higland Village August 19-21. Your job, should you decide to accept it, will be to help hold the lines that keep the balloon from floating off into space. In case it DOES float off with you still holding onto it, bring your passport. Contact Van at vaglover@verizon.net.

Have a terrific week and let's gather together again Sunday. Until then, know that you are blessed.
