Sunday November 21, 2010

Greetings. Thanks to all who showed up to class today. The crowd was small, yet well-behaved. We went through Chapter One of Craig Groeschel's The Christian Atheist. The chapter touched on when we believe in God - read about Him in the Bible, know some things about Him, what He is - but we don't really know Him intimately. Everyone read a scripture verse during the study, but all were visibly moved to extreme emotion when Chip Pierpont read Micah 6:8. See what you missed?

There will be no class held this Sunday (11/28) because of the Thanksgiving holiday. However, we will return Sunday 12/5 to hear Lynn Ross lead us in Chapter Two, "When You Believe in God, but Are Ashamed of Your Past".

Speaking of teaching, the schedule is wide open for anyone (and we do mean ANYONE) that would like to lead the class in this new study. Look to the right of this page and you will see the list of volunteer(s) that has/have signed up to teach in the upcoming week(s).

The Families of Faith Christmas Soiree wil be held on Saturday December 11 at the home of Keith & Evette Mitchell. Details and showtimes to follow.

Until we meet again - and we WILL meet again - know that you are loved and blessed.

See you,
Stubie...
