Thanks to Kerry Webb for 1) leading the class in our continuing study of the Gospel of Mark, and 2) bringing food items for a passover celebration...with grape juice...and no lamb. Lynn Ross will lead us this Sunday (3/14) in our final lesson, "And Then Everything Changed". Read Mark 16:1-20 so you'll be able to keep up.
The following Sunday there will be eating in lieu of class. Kaye Sandridge has suggested we all bring-our-own to the park and have a nice outdoor affair. Lora Bender suggested a rainout option at the Mexican resturant where the Texas Hamburger place used to be. Rain or shine, there will be food and fellowship next Sunday (3/21). Details will follow.
Guys, remember the Men's Night Out Saturday, March 13 at Resistol Arena in Mesquite to watch the Pro Bull Riders. For tickets, contact Dan Chraska at runner@grandecom.net.

Current Prayer List (updated 08/19/2012
- Prayers for Gail Goodrich's parent who are now in assisted living. Prayers for the whole family.
- Prayers for Ellen's mom. She cannot walk and she wants to go home...but obviously can't.
- Prayers for Lee's dad. His cancer is back.
- Everyone involved with next weekend's Emmaus Walk.
- Wendy's cousin, Tim Pfeiffer, has bile duct cancer. It is terminal, but he still fights on.s test results. Kidney functions are good.
- Jim Adams - church member, choir member - went in for a stint, wound up with a quintuple bypass.
- Curt is finishing cleaning out the Arlington home, and it's very emotional for him and his kids.
Volunteer Teaching
- We will be beginning a new study on October 7 that the entire church will be involved in. Think now if you'd like to volunteer to lead one of the Sunday classes in this new study. If you decide "yes, I would like to do that very thing", contact George Gump.
