Thanks to Jim Sandridge for teaching this week's lesson on the Gospel of Mark: Storytelling and Parables. Ruth Ann Landis will lead us this Sunday. Ruth Ann is a teacher by trade and, therefore, able to spot the slackers and the apple-polishers. Reading up Mark chapter 5 would be helpful if you'd like to follow along without taking the ruler to the knuckles.
Also, we need four more people to lead us in the last four lessons of the Mark series. Come forward and find out that your decision NOT to become a teacher was probably wise, but when done temporarily it's fun and different and fullfilling and appreciated.
