I hope everyone enjoyed the class Sunday morning. Since the books for the new study had not come in yet, we made up our own introduction into the book of James - a book of the bible that everyone in the class seems to like. The study books should be here by this Sunday and we'll get the series started. Well, y'all can get the series started. Your co-presidents will be on vacation the next two Sundays.
We spoke of sending goods to Sgt. Kenneth Moon in the Middle East, and since everyone who was at class got a copy of the list he should have a nice surprise in the mail. If you didn't get a copy of the list and would like to donate to the class pool, here it is:
1. Small mirrors.
2. Good disposable razors. (Preferably not pink. We discussed this. Don't make me come over there.)
3. Baby wipes.
4. Insect repellent.
5. Insecticide. (You know, sprays that kill bugs.)
6. Hand sanitizing soap.
7. Snacks.
8. Microwavable lunches.
9. Fly strips.
10. Dental floss.
Kaye suggested that socks make wonderful packing material. (Again, no pink.)
