After the confetti was swept up, we spent a few minutes discussing the distinction between God's perfect will and His permissive will. God’s perfect will is unchangeable. It is with His permissive will, or the various things that He allows into our lives, that we must wrestle before Him. It is our reaction to these things allowed by His permissive will that enables us to come to the point of seeing His perfect will for us. (And we became experts on this subject in only 15 minutes.)
This next Sunday we will meet for lunch at a location to be disclosed soon by our shiny, new Social Director, Lisa Webb. So, keep an eye on your email for the location. I kn ow, we just had a lunch together, but our brand-spanking-new Curriculum Dude, Keith Long, astutely suggested that we should have a lunch BEFORE we START a study, rather than after we finish a study. (There's really no difference, but we'll take any opportunity to gather together for a meal, right?)
Until next we meet, remember that we are loved and blessed.
Stubie...signing off.
