One of my employees has a form of blood disease. It's not Leukemia, but appears similar. The doctors have been having trouble diagnosing it. Over the weekend, one of the blood counts the doctors have been watching nose dived and the doctors are considering a transfusion, but want to avoid it if possible because it will skew the test results and may have some impact on a marrow transplant. She's heading to M.D. Anderson today and sounds very frightened on the phone. If you can take a few seconds when you receive this, pray for the doctors to correctly diagnose her condition, to find a cure, and for her peace.
